Sachiko Shinozaki (篠崎 サチコ, Shinozaki Sachiko) is a former student later former master of Heavenly Host Elementary School.

Design

Sachiko is a girl with long black hair that has a split on the left side of her head. She has dull gray eyes. She wears a tattered red dress from her days of master (later: a school girl uniform and Kisaragi Academy uniform in the alternative ending).

Personality

In Depths of Despair, Sachiko shows the kind side of her, trying to help Ayumi despite the latters dissaproval.

Prologue

In the ending of the prologue, Ayumi gets pushed by Sachiko, which makes her dizzy, sending her to Heavenly Host.

Chapter 1

Sachiko appears as Ayumi is chased by the evil spirit and tells to follow her. After both get inside the classroom, Ayumi gets surprised by seeing Sachiko back in the school. They talk and Ayumi tells her to leave.

Sachiko appears at the end of the chapter after Yuka tries to grab Ayumi. She tells her to follow, leading her to the second floor.

Chapter 2

Sachiko appears as Ayumi tries to start the exorcism and steals the matches. Ayumi catches her in the classroom and Sachiko tells that exorcism can't work, to which Ayumi denies. Sachiko disappears once again, leaving the matches behind.

Chapter 3

Sachiko is seen after Satoshi, Yoshiki and Yuka all close in on Ayumi, and uses book's magic to send them away from Ayumi. This changes her red dress to school uniform. Ayumi talks with her after finally realizing the truth behind the school. Sachiko sticks with Ayumi as they both purify all three spirits. Ayumi buries the book and Sachiko along with others say their goodbyes to Ayumi. After this Sachiko can finally move on to the afterlife.

Chapter 3 - Alternative Ending

Instead of burying the Book of Shadows, Ayumi tells Sachiko to hold the book up. She then performs the resurrection ritual again and allows the spell to kill her, after saying her farewell to Sachiko and the others.

The story then turns back to 6 years ago. After everyone leaves, it is revealed that the mysterious 'Shinozaki' is Sachiko, who then draws a picture of Ayumi in her sketchbook in her memory - even if the others do not remember Ayumi. In the Treasured Memory epilogue, Sachiko looks out the window on a rainy after-school day. After Yoshiki stops by and offers to go with her with his umbrella, Sachiko secretly hopes that she is worthy of Ayumi's sacrifice from existence.

Trivia

• Because of the story being a fan-sequel to CORPSE-PARTY, Sachiko is 16 years old instead of 7.
• In Wrong End 7, there was an error with Sachiko's sprite, making it look like there was two Ayumis.
