Walkthrough
This is a spoiler-free walkthrough for CORPSE-PARTY if.

Here is the guidelines before reading this walkthrough:

  • The graphics for the doors in this game are stylized as double doors. So when it's said to "open the second door," what it means is the second set of double doors. Which would appear in the game, graphical-wise, as the third door.
  • In-game documents that clues the player on what to do next are skipped.
  • It will let the player know when it is the best time to save so they are able to obtain both endings in this game.

Walkthrough

Kisaragi Academy

  • Enter the fourth door to your left. It would be the door to your immediate left when Yoshiki Kishinuma comments about a sound.
  • Open the left locker in the left-most corner of this classroom.

Starting Classroom

  • After the cutscene, you will wake up here. Talk to Akari Minamino.
  • Leave this classroom.

1F

  • Go north until a cutscene happens.
  • Go upstairs to the 2F.

2F

  • Go east and enter the door to the right of the blue spirit.

2F Classroom A

  • Exit this classroom from the northern door.

2F

  • Go east and enter the next opened door you see. It should be the third door to the right.

2F Classroom B

  • Go north and examine the corpse for the classroom 2-3 key.
  • Exit this classroom from the northern door or the door to the right of the corpse.

2F

  • Go to the far east and then south down the hallway.
  • When the screen changes and you're at the bottom portion of the 2F, keep going south and then west for a cutscene.
  • After the cutscene, open the door to the left here and you will unlock it with the classroom 2-3 key.

Classroom 2-3

  • Go north and pick up the loose board.
  • Exit this classroom.

2F

  • Go east and then north at the hallway.
  • When the screen changes and you're at the top portion of the 2F, keep going north and then west.
  • When your path is blocked, enter the opened door to the north.

2F Classroom A

  • Exit this classroom from the southern door.

2F

  • Go downstairs to the 1F.

1F

  • Go to the far east and enter the first opened door you see.

1F Classroom

  • Use the loose board on the gap.
  • Go south and examine the desk to the right that is across the hole from the corpse. You would know if it is the correct desk if you notice some scuff marks on the floor.
  • Push the desk.
  • Examine the corpse for science lab key.
  • Exit this classroom from the north.

1F

  • Go west and then upstairs to the 2F.

2F

  • Go upstairs to the 3F.

3F

  • Open the second door to the east and you will unlock it with the science lab key.

Science Lab

  • Go south and examine the corpse.
  • After the cutscene, immediately leave this science lab. This part of the game is an action sequence where it implements a "panic meter" where if Yoshiki gets too scared, he'll start running in any random direction. This will be symbolized by a flash of color, it is best to just stop mashing the keys and let Yoshiki run randomly. It is also recommended to constantly save your game during this part.
  • Once you leave the science lab, a cutscene will play.

3F

  • Quickly go east, and enter the opened door that has three portraits and three bookshelves next to it.

Principal's Office

  • Examine the gogatsu ningyo, the samurai figure to the right, to obtain the gogatsu ningyo sword.
  • Leave this classroom.

3F

  • A cutscene will play out. Afterward, immediately save your game, this part of the game will determine whether you get the Good End or Bad End!
  • If you want the good ending, read the Good End section. If you want to go for the Bad End, then just continue forward onto the 3F section below.

Good End

  • Go into the opened door to the right where the person walked out from.
  • Inside classroom 2-6, pick up the golden object off the floor. You will acquire the old charm.
  • Exit this classroom.

3F

  • Keep going west until a cutscene plays out.
  • After the cutscene, immediately enter the now-opened door.

Science Lab

  • A cutscene will play out.
  • Afterward, go south and examine the corpse for another cutscene. You will then acquire blessed shoes.
  • Exit the science lab.

3F

  • Go west and downstairs to the 2F.

2F

  • Go south down the hallway.
  • When the screen changes and you're at the bottom portion of the 2F, keep going south and then east. Walk past the lavatories and enter the opened door to the right of the girls' lavatory.

Classroom 2-5

  • Go north and examine the northern-most corpse to pick up the sledgehammer.
  • Exit the classroom from any door.

2F

  • Go west and enter the girls' lavatory.

Girls' Lavatory

  • Go west for a cutscene. Yoshiki will then be forced to answer a question from three choices, choose the middle answer.
  • After the cutscene, exit the girls' lavatory.

2F

  • Go west and then north up the hallway for another cutscene.
  • After the cutscene, continue north up the hallway.
  • When the screen changes and you're at the top portion of the 2F, go north and stop by the stairs.
  • If you are going for the good ending, then please read the Good End section ahead. Else, just continue forward onto the 2F section below.

Good End

  • Go east and enter the door to the right of the blue spirit.
  • At classroom 2F A, exit this classroom from the northern door.
  • Back at the 2F, go east and enter any of the two opened doors located to the far east.
  • At classroom 2F C, there is a lone blue spirit here.
  • Approach the blue spirit and talk to them.
  • After talking to the blue spirit, leave this classroom.
  • Back at 2F, go to the far west and when your path is blocked, enter the opened door to the north.
  • At classroom 2F A, exit this classroom from the southern door.

2F

  • Go upstairs to the 3F.

3F

  • Go to the far east and then south down the hallway.
  • When the screen changes and you're at the bottom portion of the 3F, continue going south and then west.
  • Enter the first opened door you see, there should be three cabinets to the right of this door.

Music Room

  • Go north and examine the piano.
  • After the cutscene, go south and exit this room.

3F

  • Go east and then north up the hallway.
  • When the screen changes and you're at the top portion of the 3F, keep going north and then west.
  • Enter the opened door where there are three portraits and three bookshelves next to it.

Principal's Office

  • Examine the second bookshelf from the left to obtain the musical score.
  • Leave this classroom.

3F

  • Go east and then south down the hallway.
  • When the screen changes and you're at the bottom portion of the 3F, continue going south and then west.
  • Enter the first opened door you see, there should be three cabinets to the right of this door.

Music Room

  • Go north and examine the piano for a cutscene.
  • After the cutscene, go east here and another cutscene will play out as soon as you approach the person at the end.
  • Afterward you will obtain rope.
  • If you are going for the good end, you can also speak to this person again for another scene.
  • When you are done, leave this room from the southwest.

3F

  • Go east and then north up the hallway.
  • When the screen changes and you're at the top portion of the 3F, keep going north and examine the black U-shaped steel section to the right of the opened doors you see.
  • Use the sledgehammer on the U-shaped steel section. Then use the rope on the U-shaped steel section.
  • Examine the U-shaped steel section and climb down it.

Former 1F Hallway

  • Go east until you change screens.
  • At the next screen, position Yoshiki so when he walks to the east, he'll be at the far south of this hallway.
  • Then continue east until you change screens again.
  • At the next screen, walk east until a cutscene appears.

Yoshiki's Psyche

  • After the cutscene and when you regain control, go north.
  • Make sure to talk to ALL of the people you encounter here if you want to progress further.
  • To note, there are eight people to talk to and you have to talk to the ninth person at the far north in order to move onward.

Former 1F Hallway

  • After the cutscenes, walk east until the screen changes.

Outside Gymnasium

  • It is very important to save your game here.
  • Go north and enter gymnasium.

Gymnasium

  • Go north and talk to the person at the end.
  • During the cutscene, you will acquire the classroom 2-9 key.
  • The gogatsu ningyo sword will empower into the demon slaying blade.
  • A final battle will then ensue.

Final Battle

  • Begin with selecting "Fight," then "Attack."
  • After 3 turns in battle, a small conversation will happen.
  • Continue selecting "Fight," then "Attack."
  • After 8 turns in battle, a conversation will happen.
  • What happens during this conversation depends on whether or not you obtain the Good End or Bad End.
  • If you are going for the Bad End, just keep battling until you lose.
  • If you are going for the Good End, just keep battling and do what you can to keep Yoshiki alive.
  • Watch the cutscenes that happens after this final battle. You will then end up at the former 1F hallway.

Former 1F Hallway

  • Immediately save your game.
  • Go west and then a cutscene will play out.
  • Here is the final "panic meter" sequence of this game. Remember you will start running in any random direction when the screen changes color. Don't worry, just stop mashing the keys during those times and let the character run randomly.
  • Do not be afraid to constantly save your game during this part! It is recommended to save every time you move onto the next screen.
  • Quickly run west until the screen changes.
  • At this next screen, run west again until the screen changes.
  • At this next screen, run west once more and examine the rope at the far end of this hallway located to the north.
  • A cutscene will then play out and you will now find yourself back at the 1F.

1F

  • Save your game now.
  • Run west and go upstairs to the 2F.

2F

  • QUICKLY go upstairs to the 3F.

3F

  • Save your game now.
  • Run east and then go south down the hallway.
  • When the screen changes and you're at the bottom portion of the 3F, save your game again.
  • Run south and then go west.
  • Continue running west and examine any of the sealed doors at the end of this hallway near the two corpses. A cutscene will then play out.

Passage of Light

  • Keep pressing up to move north. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE SHOULD YOU PRESS ANY OTHER KEY!!!
  • Keep moving north until a cutscene plays out.
  • Depending on what ending you're aiming for, you will either see the Good End or the Bad End.

Congratulations, you have beaten CORPSE-PARTY if!
