Do note that with this walkthrough:

  • This walkthrough is for the English version of this game. This walkthrough can also work for the Japanese version, but there may be some minor graphical changes, like the color of the screen in the Generator Room for example.
  • Be sure to save often, the best place to save is at the gathering spot on the 2F.
  • I will be skipping the locations of the Someone’s Notes and other in-game documents.
  • I will not explain where to find every possible Game Over.
  • I will let the player know when it is the best time to save so they are able to obtain all three endings in this game.

DREAM WORLD:

  • Exit the classroom.
  • Go north and speak with the person there.

HOSPITAL:

  • Walk to the far right and when you hear the telephone ring, walk to the far left. Then approach the receptionist’s desk until you get a text prompt from Dr. Amagasaki.
  • Then go to the far right and open the last door at the end of the hallway.

STARTING CLASSROOM:

  • Wake up both Seita and Dr. Amagasaki.
  • Read the poster to the north of Dr. Amagasaki.
  • Exit the classroom.

1F EAST HALLWAY:

  • Examine the far north and the far south outside the classroom.
  • Go back to the starting classroom.

STARTING CLASSROOM:

  • After the cutscene, open the northern door.

1F (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • At the 1F East Hallway, go north.
  • When prompted, move south toward the starting classroom.
  • After the cutscene, go east to the 1F Central Hallway.
  • Enter Classroom 1-C at the end of this hallway. (There will be a candle inside this classroom.)
  • Leave through the southern door in Classroom 1-C.
  • Go east to the 1F West Hallway.
  • Go to the far south and go west to the 1F South Hallway.
  • Go west and then south of the second double doors.

ENTRANCEWAY (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • Pick up the [Iron Lever]. Exit the Entranceway.

1F (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • Go to the far east to 1F West Hallway.
  • Approach the cabinet here. Go to the menu, then select “Items,” and “Iron Lever”. You will obtain the [Staff Room Key].
  • Go west back to the 1F South Hallway.
  • Approach any of the double doors and you will unlock them with the [Staff Room Key].

STAFF ROOM (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • Examine the large cabinets to the northwest to obtain the [Art Room Key].
  • When the room gets dark, you will need to turn on three specific lamps. If you can separate the desks by columns A, B, and C:
    • 1.) The first lamp is to the northwest on column A.
    • 2.) The second lamp is to the southeast on column B.
    • 3.) The third lamp is to the southeast on column C.
  • Leave this classroom for a cutscene.

1F - 2F - 3F (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • Go upstairs to the 2F and then upstairs again to the 3F.

3F (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • At the 3F South Hallway, go east to the 3F East Hallway.
  • Enter the first classroom you see to the east, this is the Music Room.

MUSIC ROOM (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • Examine the music stands in this order: Right, Left, Down, Left, and Up.
  • Speak to the spectator and ask him both questions.
  • After speaking with him, exit the classroom for a cutscene.

3F (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • Back at the 3F East Hallway, go south and then east.
  • Go down the stairs to the 2F.

2F (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • Go to the western room, this is the gathering spot.

2F GATHERING SPOT (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • Examine the red pentagram twice to switch to Sayako’s party.

STARTING CLASSROOM (SAYAKO’S PARTY):

  • Exit the classroom.

1F (SAYAKO’S PARTY):

  • Go north and pick up the [Loose Board] on the floor.
  • Use the [Loose Board] on the gap to the south.
  • Go east to the 1F South Hallway, then go up the stairs.

2F (SAYAKO’S PARTY):

  • Go west to the 2F West Hallway. Then enter the third door to the west, this will lead into the Generator Room.

GENERATOR ROOM (SAYAKO’S PARTY):

  • You will need to obtain a value of “50” to power up the generator. Any combination will work, but a simple one is to use the center lever two times and use the right lever four times.
  • Examine the yellow screen to the left. If you have done this correctly, it will now turn green.
  • Leave this room.

2F (SAYAKO’S PARTY):

  • At the 2F West Hallway, go south and east.
  • Enter the doors to the right of the lavatories in the 2F South Hallway back to the gathering spot.

2F GATHERING SPOT (SAYAKO’S PARTY):

  • Examine the red pentagram to switch to the other party.

2F GATHERING SPOT (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • As the other party, exit this room.

2F (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • Go east to 2F East Hallway.
  • Then enter the first door you see to the east and you will unlock it with the [Art Room Key].

ART ROOM (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • Examine the industrial disc grinder. When prompted, select “Yes.”
  • After the cutscene, exit this room.

2F (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • Go south and east back to the 2F South Hallway.
  • Go east and enter the room leading to the gathering spot.

2F GATHERING SPOT (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • Examine the red pentagram to switch to the other party.

2F GATHERING SPOT (SAYAKO’S PARTY):

  • As the other party, exit this room.

2F (SAYAKO’S PARTY):

  • Go west to the 2F West Hallway.
  • Go north for a cutscene.
  • Quickly talk to Seita for another cutscene.

SCIENCE LAB (SAYAKO’S PARTY):

  • Walk toward the southern cabinet for a cutscene.
  • After the cutscene, examine the southern cabinet for the [Classroom 3-2 Key].
  • Exit this room.

2F (SAYAKO’S PARTY):

  • After the cutscene, head south and east back to the 2F South Hallway.
  • Go east and enter the room leading to the gathering spot.

2F GATHERING SPOT (SAYAKO’S PARTY):

  • Talk to Kaori and she will give Sayako the [Iron Lever].
  • Exit this room.

2F (SAYAKO’S PARTY):

  • Go up the stairs to the east to the 3F.

3F (SAYAKO’S PARTY):

  • Go west to the 3F West Hallway.
  • Then go all the way north and east to the 3F Central Hallway.
  • Enter the first door you see to the south and you will unlock it with the [Classroom 3-2 Key].

CLASSROOM 3-2 (SAYAKO’S PARTY):

  • Examine the person to the north for a cutscene. You will obtain [Shiho’s Ribbon].
  • After the cutscene, examine the glowing blue object to the west for the [Principal’s Office Key].
  • Exit this classroom.

3F (SAYAKO’S PARTY):

  • Go to the far east. Then unlock the door there with the [Principal’s Office Key] and enter.

PRINCIPAL’S OFFICE (SAYAKO’S PARTY):

  • Pick up the [Loose Board] to the west and exit the classroom for a cutscene.

3F (SAYAKO’S PARTY):

  • In this action sequence, whenever prompted, press these arrow keys in this order: Down, Right, Down, Up, Left, Left, Down, Left, Down, and Up.
  • After the cutscene, go south and east to the 3F South Hallway.
  • Then go down the stairs to the 2F.

2F (SAYAKO’S PARTY):

  • Go west to the 2F West Hallway.
  • Now go north and east to the 2F Central Hallway.
  • Go far east and use the [Loose Board] on the gap. Then go east to 2F East Hallway.
  • Go south for a cutscene.

2F (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • Go south for another cutscene.
  • Go west to 2F South Hallway.
  • OPTIONAL!: Go to the gathering spot to the west and save your game. This is especially important because an upcoming scene can affect the outcome of the ending. I suggest making two to three saves here. Then exit the gathering spot.
  • Go downstairs to the 1F.

1F (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • Go east to the 1F East Hallway.
  • Then go all the way north and enter the northern-most door to the Infirmary.

INFIRMARY (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • Walk toward the beds for a cutscene.
  • When prompted, choose whether or not to give [Shiho’s Ribbon] back to Kaori. Your choice will affect the ending you will receive.

1F (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • After the cutscene, quickly walk south and west to 1F South Hallway.
  • There will be a cutscene, then go upstairs to the 2F.

2F (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • Go east to 2F East Hallway.
  • Quickly go north and west to 2F Central Hallway.
  • Enter the second door after the bridged gap to Classroom 2-D.

CLASSROOM 2-D (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • After the cutscene, I highly suggest saving your game just in case if you mess up on this action sequence.
  • Slowly make your way out of this classroom.
  • Then as the next person, save your game. Then slowly make your way out of this classroom as well.
  • Finally as the last person, save your game. Then examine the northwest central cabinets. It appears you can hide inside them and when prompted, select “Yes.”
  • During this segment, wait until you hear the second SFX where cans are rolling before you can safely leave the cabinet.
  • If done correctly, leave this classroom for a cutscene.

INFIRMARY (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • After the cutscene, leave this room.

1F (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • Go south and west to 1F South Hallway.
  • Then go up the stairs to the 2F.

2F (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • Go east to 2F East Hallway.
  • Enter the first door you see to be inside the Art Room.

ART ROOM (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • After the cutscene, leave the classroom.

2F (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • Go north and west to 2F Central Hallway.
  • Go to the far west to 2F West Hallway.
  • Go all the way south and east to 2F South Hallway.
  • Go up the stairs to the 3F.

3F (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • Go west to 3F West Hallway.
  • Go all the way north and east to 3F Central Hallway.
  • Examine the walls near the Principal’s Office that leads to a Stairway.

STAIRWAY - ROOFTOP - INFIRMARY (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • After the cutscenes, save your game and enter the door.
  • After the cutscene on the rooftop, you will be at the Infirmary.
  • Leave the Infirmary.

1F (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • Go south and west to 1F South Hallway.
  • Go up the stairs to the 2F.

2F (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • Go east to 2F East Hallway.
  • Go all the way north and west to 2F Central Hallway.
  • Head to the far west to 2F West Hallway.
  • Go south and when someone appears, quickly move south to the 2F South Hallway.
  • If you want to obtain all three endings, please read the “Optional!!!” section. If you want to beat the game, just move forward onto “2F (Kaori’s Party)”.

OPTIONAL!!!:

  • Go to the far east and enter the gathering spot.
  • Depending on what you have done with [Shiho’s Ribbon], I suggest making a save here so you have a mid-way point for two of the three endings.
  • Then leave the gathering spot and go back to 2F West Hallway.
  • Approach the someone here for a cutscene.
  • After that cutscene, go south to 2F South Hallway.

2F (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • Go downstairs to the 1F.

1F (KAORI’S PARTY):

  • Go west to 1F West Hallway.
  • Enter any of the doors you see to the west.
  • Congratulations, you have beaten the game!

ENDING RANKS

Your ENDING RANK is determined by these following choices:

  • ENDING RANK: A:
    • At the Infirmary, don’t let Sayako give Kaori [Shiho’s Ribbon].
    • Upon meeting someone in the 2F West Hallway, near the end of the game. Approach them.
  • ENDING RANK: B:
    • At the Infirmary, let Sayako give Kaori [Shiho’s Ribbon].
    • Upon meeting someone in the 2F West Hallway, near the end of the game. Approach them.
  • ENDING RANK: C:
    • At the Infirmary, let Sayako give Kaori [Shiho’s Ribbon].
    • Upon meeting someone in the 2F West Hallway, run away from them.
